Thomas Masters explores sensations of depth, perceptions of time, perpetual movement and crackling energy through gestural action artworks. Though the compositions appear to be less of a formulated treatise than a release of instinctual compulsions, the balanced frameworks, elaborate layering and expert application of pigment stand as a testament to an artist with a lifetime of stored experience.
